A Great Day Today

I had a great day today because after school I went to my friend Jessica’s house we watched videos on the Internet all day long. My mom kept calling me up to find out where I was so I told her I was in the library. I did not feel comfortable lying to my mother about where I was at 1st, but I know that she would not be reasonable if did tell her that I was at the library. My mom really wants me to get good grades and sometimes I have to lie to make her think that I’m trying my hardest I really just blowing off steam with my friend. I was not going to leave Jessica’s house because the videos that we were watching were so funny and they really made me laugh out loud. It is rare to find such good videos on the Internet and I did not want to miss the opportunity to discover more with Jessica that day.

Then things got a little bit too wild as my mother came and she found me at Jessica’s house. It was very upsetting for both of us because my mother was hoping that I wouldn’t be there because she did not want face that fact facts that I was a liar. And I was very surprised but did not think that my mom would find me at Jessica’s house and I was very put off when she stopped there. It is not fair for a mother to be overprotective like that and I do not think that she should treat me like this. I was not even doing anything wrong. That is the part that makes me so upset. I was just sitting around with Jessica watching You Tube videos and it was all very innocent. My mom needs to trust you more than she does.
